Ingredients:
- 1 lb Mutton
- 2 - bay leaves
- 2 - cloves
- 2 small sticks - cinnamon
- 1 - star anise
- 2 onions - sliced
- 1 tomato - chopped
- 1 tablespoon of ginger garlic paste
- 1 tablespoon of Red chilli powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder
- 1/2 tablespoon of garam masala
- 2 tablespoon of vegetable oil
- Salt to taste
- Chopped cilantro handful
Method:
- Wash the mutton with turmeric powder and keep it aside.
- Heat oil in pressure cooker, add bay leaves,cloves, cinnamon and star anise.
- Add onions and ginger garlic paste and saute till it becomes translucent.
- Add tomatoes, cook till it turned to soft.
- Add Mutton pieces, chilli powder, garam masala, turmeric powder and salt with 2 cup of water and mix well.
- Put some cilantro, then increase the flame and close the cooker with its lid.
- When the steam comes out from the pressure cooker put the weight on the lid and wait for 6-7 whistle, then turn off the flame.
- Keep the pressure cooker aside for some minutes until all the steam settles down.
- Open the pressure cooker lid, increase the flame and cook, till it became thick consistency, then garnish it with cilantro. Serve hot with Jeera rice.
