Chicken Soup - simple version

  • 1 cup of Chicken (washed and cut into cubes)
  • 1/2 cup of frozen sweet corn
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp of corn flour
  • 1/2 tsp of Ground pepper (optional)
  • 1 tbsp Chopped cilantro
  • salt to taste

Serve: 2 Adults


1. Mix corn flour with 2 tablespoon of water, set aside.

2. Place chicken, sweet corn in soup pot, salt as needed and cover with 3 cups of  water.

3. Bring it to a boil, cook until soft. 

4. Add egg and corn flour, stir constantly and cook for 2 minutes.

5. Add pepper, garnish with cilantro and serve HOT!

  1. Lovely simple soup and I think sometimes simplicity speaks loud in flavors. Certainly a recipe I am keeping aside to be tried out.
