Chilli Paneer Dry Recipe

  • 250 g of Paneer ( cut into cubes )
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 orange capsicum chopped
  • 1 teaspoon of ginger garlic paste
  • 2 green chillies slitted
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of tomato ketchup
  • 2 tablespoon of hot sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vinegar
  • a pinch of sugar
  • 4 tablespoon of vegetable oil
  • For marination
  • 2 tablespoon of corn flour
  • 2 tablespoon of maida / all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tablespoon of ginger garlic paste
  • salt to taste

1. In small bowl, add corn flour, maida/all purpose flour, ginger garlic paste with little water. Add the paneer cubes in it, mix well and marinade for 30 minutes.

2. Heat 2 tablespoon of oil in tawa, fry paneer in medium flame and set aside

3. Heat oil in pan, add green chillies, onion and ginger garlic paste, cook until it becomes translucent.

4. Add capsicum, soy sauce and salt, cook for few minutes. ( Do not over cook the capsicum )

5. Add hot sauce, tomato ketchup, sugar, vinegar and salt, fry for few minutes

6. Add paneer and mix altogether, cook until the spices blend into the paneer.

7. Garnish it with green spring onion and serve with vegetable pulao or fried rice.
