For Chocolate Lover!!!
Ingredients:
- For Cake:
- 1 1/2 cup of all purpose flour
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1/2 cup of butter
- 2 egg
- 2 tsp of pure vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 tsp of baking powder
- 9*9 Baking dish
- For icing:
- 100 g of dark chocolate
- 1 cup of whipping cream
- 1/2 cup of icing sugar
- 3 tbsp of butter
- For Decoration:
- 1/2 cup of chasewnuts
- 1 tbsp of chopped pistachios
Method:
To make cake:
- Preheat oven to 350 deg F and grease the baking pan with butter,set aside.
- Take a bowl ,Cream butter and sugar. Add egg, beat until it becomes light.
- Add vanilla extract and baking powder, Mix thoroughly.
- Take another bowl, mix flour and milk without any lumps.
- Add the flour batter into the cream mixture and mix well.
- Pour the batter into the greased pan and bake until a toothpick inserted in the centre of the cake and comes out clean. ( Mine took 30 minutes)
- Let it cool for sometime and cake is ready !
To make icing:
- In a small saucepan, add about an inch of water and bring it to simmer. Place a small plate over the saucepan and add chocolate, cook untill the chocolate melts.
- In a bowl, cream butter and icing sugar.
- Add the melted chocolate and whipping cream, mix until smooth.
To decorate the cake:
- Evenly spread the chocolate icing on the cake and decorate with chasewnuts and pistachios.
