Meen varuval | Fish fry is one of our favorite dish. I used Indian spice powders for fish marination. It tastes so yummy. check out the easy peasy fish fry recipe below
Ingredients:
- 7 to 9 piece of fish
- oil for shallow frying
- Marination
- 3 tsp of chilli power
- 1 tsp of coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp fennelseed powder
- 5 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tsp corn flour/rice flour
- 1/8 tsp turmeric powder
- Salt as required
Method:
1. Clean fish and wash it well. Pat dry it with paper towel.
2.Take fish in large mixing bowl, add all the ingredients mentioned under marination.
3.Sprinkle some water and mix well until masala nicely coated on all sides of fish meat.
4.let it sit for 30 minutes.
5.Heat oil in tawa/pan over medium heat, fry all the fishes on both sides until it turns to golden brown color.
6.Transfer fried fry in plate, squeeze some lime juice on it and serve hot with onion slices.
