Chocolate Mug Cake - Second Blogiversary

Today Bhawish's Kitchen is stepping into 3rd year. I am really thankful to my family, friends and readers to appreciate my work and I always want your support and encouragement for the forthcoming year. To celebrate 2nd Blogiversary, I made this yummy Chocolate Mug Cake. It is very simple recipe yet tasty too. You will need only 2 minutes to make this delicious cake. I doubled the below mentioned recipe to make 3 small mug cakes. Read on for the detailed recipe.


1/4 cup All purpose flour / Maida
5 tbsp Sugar
1 large Egg
3 tbsp Milk
3 tbsp Vegetable oil
2 tbsp Cocoa powder
1/4 tsp of Vanilla essence
A pinch of Salt
Butter for greasing

Yield : 1 big mug size cake


Take all the ingredients (expect butter) in a bowl, mix it all without any lumps.
Grease mug with butter.
Pour the batter into greased mud. Leave 1/4th of space on top of mug for cake raising.
Microwave it for 2 minutes. That's all mug cake is ready.

I love to have this cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

  6. I added some walnuts and it was delicious! Also a little tip: be careful with the oil you choose because mine had a really strong flavour
