Chicken Salami

It is quick and easy method for making salami at home. You can try it with different spice flavors. I have tried with mint and cilantro. The flavor and taste was just out of the world.
It is zero oil dish, perfect for weight watchers.

Chicken Salami

Course: Salad, Starter, Snack
The recipe is adapted from Poonam's Kitchen


1 lb chicken , minced or boneless chicken chunks
2 no of chilies
3 garlic pods
1 inch ginger
10 mint leaves
2 sprigs of cilantro
Salt to taste


Chicken Salami

Take all the ingredients in a blender/food processor and blend them to smooth paste.

Transfer the chicken mixture into a bowl.

Take two square shape of aluminium foil sheet, add some chicken mixture on the center of sheet. Wrap it tightly like a candy shape. Use double foil sheets in order to avoid the water absorption.

Do the same process for rest of the chicken mixture.

Chicken Salami

Bring water to boil on medium heat.

Now drop the wrapped chicken into the boiling water.

Close the vessel and cook for about 15 minutes.

Once it cooked, remove the wrapped chicken from vessel and let it cool for sometime.

Unwrap the foil sheet, TADA! yummy salami is ready... Slice it up and serve as it is or with ur choice of dip or salad.
