KEERAI MASIYAL - MASHED SPINACH|GREENS

Keerai Masiyal is a classic south indian dish, which is prepared by cooking spinach, tomato, garlic, chili with some indian spices. Then blend or mash into smooth/course paste. when I was little my mom makes this recipe often. she uses matthu/wooden masher to blend the spinach mixture. Here I don't have one, so I have used blender to blend it. This dish is packed with lot of nutrients. Try this for your little one. Once in a week, I make this for my little boy (18 months now). It is one of his favorite food. You can start feeding this dish when they turn 1 year old, just mix this masiyal with plain rice.
